WEN® cleansing conditioner
WEN® cleansing conditioner is a revolutionary new hair care product that is the result of over five years of experimentation by its creator,
Chaz Dean. As a hair stylist, he had noticed the destructive drying effect of chemical detergents, and began searching for alternatives.
In doing so, he realised that there was no need to strip the hair of its natural moisture with a harsh shampoo, only to then add it again with a conditioner. Instead, he simplified the whole process, with a product that has the ability to simultaneously cleanse and moisturise - the cleansing conditioner.
Chaz's cleansing conditioner is designed to nurture your hair without the use of the lauryl-sulphates and detergents found in many ordinary shampoos, and cleanses your hair without sacrificing its integrity and beauty.
How to use cleansing conditioner from WEN®
The cleansing conditioner from WEN® is a slightly different product from the ones you may be used to, and so requires a different approach. Here is a quick guide to its application:
Divide hair into four sections. Pump the recommended amount of product on to your palm and apply to each section.

Step 1
Thoroughly rinse your scalp and hair with lukewarm water for one to two minutes.
Step 2
Pump the recommended amount of product onto your palm and apply to all four sections of hair. Add a touch of lukewarm water and massage into your scalp and hair.
Remember, it won’t lather. Instead, it will feel thick and creamy.
Step 3
Massage properly from the crown of your head to the tips of your hair.
Leave for three - five minutes.
Step 4
Rinse your hair thoroughly.
Your cleansing conditioner should be the first thing on and the last thing rinsed off in your shower routine.
Step 5
Dry and style your hair as normal and notice the difference.

Gradually, the chemical damage your hair has undergone over the years will be reversed. The ‘shingles’ of the hair will flatten down, reversing the effects of ammonia. The natural oils will return, reversing the effect of sodium sulphates. Hair breakage will be minimised, and damage from the environment lessened.
