The full range of WEN® products
The WEN® hair care system contains several complementary WEN® products which can be used together to revolutionise your hair care regime.
The first and most important is, of course, WEN® cleansing conditioner. This is a truly innovative product that eliminates the need for the two-step shampoo and conditioner routine. Instead, the cleansing properties of shampoo have been combined with the moisturising properties of conditioner in one product.
This is far more than just a conditioning shampoo, however. The harsh detergents in shampoo which dry out hair and make it prone to breakages have been removed entirely. Instead, the cleaning process is down to several herbal and botanical agents which allow hair to retain its natural oils.
When the moisture is not stripped from hair by detergents, there is less need to force moisture back in artificially. The cleaning agents of WEN® cleansing conditioner are themselves moisturising - so it really is nothing like a regular shampoo conditioner.
Intensive moisturising products from WEN®
However, for hair that has been previously coloured, permed, bleached or perhaps chemically straightened, more intensive moisturising ingredients are often required to undo the effects of these processes.
The ammonia contained in permanent colourants and bleaches causes the ‘shingles’ of the hair shaft to remain permanently raised, causing the hair to appear frizzy and dull. A good moisturiser can restore the pH balance of the hair and flatten down these shingles.
The WEN® Re Moist Intensive Hair Treatment can do just that. It is intended for those who are particularly prone to dry hair, or perhaps have suffered the effects of too much colouring or styling. Its fully natural herbal and botanical extracts encourage hair to retain its moisture, which then has the chain effect of making it less prone to environmental damage.
WEN® products for styling
Depending on the effect you like your hair to create, there are three WEN® products available for styling. The Styling Crème allows you to gently tease hair into position while retaining shine and movement. Texture Balm is used for shorter hairstyles for a funky, texturised effect, while Volumizing Treatment Spray creates an enviable body and bounce.
